About Clinic

Academician Vakhtang Bochorishvili Clinic was established in 1979. From the very beginning it was named as anti-sepsis center, which was innovative throughout the Soviet Union.
With involvement and consultations of experienced doctors, the mortality rate in Georgia due to sepsis was decreased from 65 % to 5 %.

In 1984 the founders received a state award for the successful work and in 1987 the clinic was located in a specially constructed five-storey building.
Academician Vakhtang Bochorishvili Clinic today is located in the same building.
